The Aberdeen mom struck gold on Wednesday, Feb. 19, after being announced as the Maryland Lottery’s “Ravens Seats For 20 Years” winner.
Her epic prize? A pair of club-level seats and a parking pass for every Ravens preseason and regular season game at M&T Bank Stadium until 2045.
And according to Brown, this win wasn’t just luck—it was a gift from above.
“We lost my dad last year. He was a Vietnam vet and the life of every Ravens game we watched,” she said. “Birthdays were placed on hold for goodness sake.
"I believe deep in my heart my dad is watching over us and wanted this to be the very last gift he could present to me and my family.”
Brown was one of six finalists chosen from more than a million entries in the Maryland Lottery’s Ravens Second-Chance Promotion.
All finalists received $10,000 and a stadium tour, but it was the Harford County woman who was announced as the winner by former Ravens and Towson University star Terrance West.
As soon as her name was called, Brown burst into tears and was joined by her husband and two kids for an emotional celebration ... Now they have to decide who goes to the games.
“We are going to have to alternate,” Brown joked about who gets the coveted extra seat. “We have 20 years to figure it out.”
The Maryland Lottery and Baltimore Ravens have been teaming up for 16 seasons, but this year’s scratch-off promotion drew over 4 million entries.
And while the 2024 football season might be over, Brown’s dream run is just kicking off—proof that sometimes, fandom runs deeper than the game.
